A fast and fun read written in a delightfully warm and pleasant voice

A fast and fun read written in a delightfully warm and pleasant voice. The book is structured into 15 chapters with each chapter addressing a common -- if sometimes sensitive -- question that comes up when considering a move to Costa Rica with small kids. These questions are all addressed in the authors own point of view, and then she includes well considered quotes from other families who have made the move. I have lived in Costa Rica for several years, but I still learned a lot from this book and will be looking back on it frequently for a different perspective on the questions that come up living abroad with kids.

Well worth the price

Interesting book and good information about Costa Rica. Didn't display correctly on my regular Kindle reader, so I read it with Google. Will not be NY Times best seller, but it was well worth the .99 paid. The author Emily Shea has an excellent blog online. Book is a nice companion to her blog.

When I lived overseas the loneliness aspect was big and this book addresses how to reach out and meet others. It touches on all the major areas you need to consider: transportation, healthcare, and accommodation, and has made me even more excited to go there!
