About the Author
Mike is the chief executive of a large retirement community in Michigan. When he s not busy serving over 1,000 older adults and leading 700 employees each day, he s a passionate community leader. Mike is a former Division I college basketball player and runs a program teaching basketball to over 300 area kids each weekend. Mike is a church planter, mens ministry champion and youth group leader. He is married with two sons and a daughter. Man Quest emerged when Mike was struggling to figure out how to teach his teenage son the true essence of manhood. This book is a love letter to his two sons.

Getting Your Son Prepared for Life!

Man Quest is a tremendous way to impart important values to your son as he becomes a man. The guideposts provide life lessons for our sons in a practical way, and the format makes it much easier to broach topics that often may be difficult for parents and sons to discuss. A must for families looking to insure their sons receive positive direction about real life situations they will encounter, and presented in way they will remember as they move into manhood!

Don't Miss This Opportunity

My son and I participated in a ManQuest study with about eight other father and son guys in the fall of 2013. The study teaches boys about crossing over into Manhood. At first, many of the dads seemed uncomfortable sharing, but as the study progressed, the teachings reached everyone. For our last meeting, we took the boys sporting clay shooting (18 dads and sons shooting 50 rounds each!)then cooked steak and ribs over a huge camp fire at a remote location. Each dad spoke about their love for their son - let me tell you, that was an evening I'll never forget! Do not miss the opportunity to share an experience like this with your son.

A relationship builder

As a grandmother, I watched how this workbook provided opportunity for fathers and sons to have discussions about very hard and difficult life situations. It is not a blueprint for being a success father. It does, however, provide principles that fathers and sons can discuss and which will hopefully be part of both their lives. The journey through this book has brought more openness and freedom for sharing which is always good for relationship building and moving into manhood. Well worth the time and effort. Your son and your relationship with him is worth the time and effort.
